Program Description

This program aims to foster interactions between stakeholders in science, practice, and social movements within the agroecology field. It involves creating online platforms and forums for knowledge sharing, organizing conferences and symposiums, and facilitating community-led initiatives that promote agroecological practices.

Program Activities

i. Create online platforms and forums for stakeholders to exchange ideas, resources, and experiences related to agroecology.
ii. Organize community events such as field days, farmer markets, and food festivals to promote networking and collaboration.
iii. Establish community-based organizations or working groups focused on specific topics within agroecology, such as soil health or biodiversity conservation.
iv. Advocate for policies that support knowledge sharing and collaboration among diverse stakeholders in agriculture and food systems.
v. Organize conferences and symposiums bringing together scientists, practitioners, and activists in the field of agroecology.
vi. Facilitate community-led initiatives that promote agroecological practices.
vii. Establish mentorship programs connecting experienced agroecologists with newcomers to the field.
